      Add and manage administrators

      The InsiderLog employees do not have access to our client's application. It’s up to each client to manage which person should have access to their application.

      By default, there is an admin group called MAIN_ADMIN_GROUP in your system. Adding people to this group will give them full access to the system.

      Our recommendation is to have at least two main admins in the application

       

      Main admins

      1. To add a main admin to your system, press +add administrator
      2. Enter the administrator's email address and choose the group MAIN_ADMIN_GROUP
      3. Press proceed, and the person will receive an invitation to register.

      Sub admins

      If you want to add a person with limited access, you can create sub admin groups.

      1. Administrators belonging to a sub admin group only have access to;
        1. Lists a main admin gives them access to
        2. Lists they create themselves
        3. Lists created by another admin within the same subgroup
      2. First, you need to create a subgroup. Do this by pressing group in the top left corner of your screen and create new group.

      1. Enter the group name and confirm.
      2. To add a sub admin to your system, press +add administrator
      3. Enter the administrator's email address and choose a subgroup.
      4. Press proceed, and the person will receive an invitation to register.

      Support admins

      If you need support from the InsiderLog team, you can add us as a support admin to your account.

      Note: A support admin can only access your settings and nothing such as inside information or list content. 

      1. To add a support admin to your system, press +add support.
      2. Choose which admin you wish to add from the drop-down options.
      3. Press proceed to send the invitation.

      Change the group access for an admin

      1. Press edit next to the administrator's name.
      2. Check the groups you want to add the admin to.
      3. Uncheck the groups you want to remove the admin from.
      4. Press proceed to save your changes.

      Remove admins

      1. To remove an administrator, click on the remove button next to their name and then proceed to confirm.

      Note: The person will receive an email that they’ve been removed as administrator from the application.
