The new upgrade provides a structured approach for logging and analyzing events that may impact the decision and assessment to delay disclosure.
We’ve added this feature to allow you to create logs for events that might impact your decision and assessment to delay the public disclosure. For example, if an event occurs that affects the conditions required for delaying publication, you can log it to track the decision-making process.
While it’s recommended to log such events in InsiderLog, it’s not mandatory. Under MAR regulations, it’s essential to continually assess whether disclosure should be delayed or not. As a best practice, organizations should monitor significant events closely and document their reasons for delaying—or deciding to disclose—information.
Add a new event
You can find the event log in two places:
1. In the top right corner of the insider list
2. Under the list settings
- To add a new event, press "Add event"
- Fill in the details of the event
- Press "Save" to save your event
Remove event
To remove an event, press "remove event" and press "Save" to save your changes
